Remembering Ed Sullivan

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to beloved MREMS member, Edmund Sullivan, who passed away on February 26, 2016.

Ed was a vital part of MREMS, joining our organization after he retired from Middlebury College. Wanting to keep close to his "kids" from the college, Ed proposed starting a JTerm EMT Basic class for students - a class which he spent countless hours away from home organizing and teaching. That class has been a continuous success, and we have Ed to thank for that.

To his beloved wife, Kathy, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for sharing Ed with us and making sacrifices of your own. We are forever grateful to you.

His selfless dedication will never be forgotten. Each and every one of us who had the privilege of working with Ed was a better person for it. His endless patience, guidance, sense of humor, and willingness to meet every challenge thrown at him was inspiring. Ed touched so many lives, we are honored to have been a part of his life.

Thank you, Ed, and rest easy.
