The COVID-19 pandemic took the world by storm in 2020. MREMS responded to the global public health emergency by joining the vaccination and testing effort in Addison County.

Our Paramedics and Advanced EMTS staffed walk-in vaccination clinics at our headquarters and mobile clinics around Addison County. MREMS administered tens of thousands of vaccinations and boosters to our community.

Were were able to act as a force multiplier for our local healthcare system an our efforts demonstrated the nimbleness and value of using EMS providers outside our traditional role of prehospital care
