Winter 2020 Update

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Happy New Year! As we look forward to another year of providing the very best emergency medical service to you, we hope you can continue to support this important local amenity with another generous gift.

Over the last four years we asked you to help refresh our aging ambulance fleet, and you responded.

We raised over $225,000 through the generous contributions of nearly 1,000 donors. This permitted us to purchase a new ambulance in December of 2018 and attracted a grant from the USDA that allowed us to equip it with a new cardiac monitor to provide state-of-the-art care for our patients. The campaign was a resounding success by any measure, thanks to you.

Now we need to keep the momentum going towards replacing the third of three ambulances we run, the medical equipment inside them, and the dispatching equipment that sends them on their way. With the holiday season over, please consider a new year gift to permit us to continue to save toward the equipment we use to provide medical care.

Even if you cannot afford something now, we ask that you signal us you would be willing to make room in your budget for a mid-year or year-end gift to the association.

Every gift, large and small, now or in the future, will be earmarked exclusively for an ambulance, its equipment, or the equipment we use for dispatch. You can rest assured that we treasure every contribution, that we manage each dollar carefully, and that your gift will contribute to a tangible, life-saving capability for our community.

On behalf of all the dedicated members of MREMS, we wish you a safe and healthy new year.
